A Physics Demonstration: Pendulums



Earlier in the semester in my Physics class, we analyzed a video of several pendulums. We created a spreadsheet of the data. I would like to share this with everyone.
Using the model:
$x(t)=A\cdot cos(\omega t+\phi)$
where:
$A = 1$ and $\phi = 0$

We get the final equation for simple harmonic motion of these pendulums:
$x(t)=cos(\omega t)$
We then investigated the simple motion for all of the pendulums in the video. The link for the video can be found below. Through Microsoft Excel, interesting things happened. Some screenshots are provided below, but I encourage you to download the file by clicking here to see for yourself!
